President
Sam Hill is the president and founder of Sam Hill Tree Care. Establishing the company in 1998, after working with firms such as Lambert’s and Precision Landscaping, Sam has made it his mission to provide quality tree care in the Dallas area. He plays an active role in all facets of the company, with primary focus as chief consultant and diagnostician.

Andrew Wimmel
Operations & Safety Manager · Arborist
Andrew is the Operations Manager and Senior Arborist for Sam Hill Tree Care. He is a transplant from southwest Missouri that joined the team in 2016. In the Operations role Andrew directs the safety, production and personnel development for the Tree Care and Plant Health Care divisions of the company. As the Senior Arborist, Andrew manages or assists Sam with the more complicated projects for the company. These range from tree preservation through construction, to tree risk assessment and also to developing and implementing total tree and landscape management plans for our clients.

Tracie Barnes Bonilla
Director of Administration
Tracie Bonilla is a recent addition (2019) to the Sam Hill Tree Care team. With more than 25 years of accounting and administrative experience, she is an incredible asset to the organization. Tracie is responsible for accounting, billing, human resources and payroll. Her experience includes employment with Southern Botanical, Inc and BrightView Landscapes, where she provided administrative operations, monthly budget review and analysis.

Megan Ward
Plant Health Care Manager · Arborist
Megan joined Sam Hill Tree Care as a Plant Health Care Specialist upon her graduation from Sam Houston State University in 2018. Megan received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business while attending SHSU and she worked as an assistant wine maker at a local winery and vineyard. She was also involved in several organizations on campus. Megan adopted the motto of “Committed to a life of excellence” while a sweetheart member of the fraternity Delta Tau Delta at SHSU.
