Brief info

Sam Hill is the president and founder of Sam Hill Tree Care. Establishing the company in 1998, after working with firms such as Lambert’s and Precision Landscaping, Sam has made it his mission to provide quality tree care in the Dallas area. He plays an active role in all facets of the company, with primary focus as chief consultant and diagnostician.

Following his belief of leaving the world better than he found it, Sam has instilled a culture of continuous learning and safety within his organization. He has a passion for plant science and pathology and this passion is emulated throughout his team of Arborists, Plant Healthcare Technicians and production crews. Sam invests heavily in training and safety programs to ensure the most qualified tree professionals are providing tree care to his customers.

Mr. Hill is a Board Certified Master Arborist® through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and is also a current member of the organization. He is Texas Oak Wilt Qualified, a TDA Commercial Pesticide Applicator and is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. Beginning his education at Texas A&M to pursue his degree in Chemistry, Sam graduated from LeTourneau University with a BBA in Business Administration. He received a Certificate in Leadership from Southern Methodist University, and has recently completed the Aileron Course for Presidents. Sam Hill is highly regarded by his peers and educators nationwide.

Sam and his wife Johnna are the proud parents of two teenagers, Ryan and Abby. He is also active in his church and community through many volunteer efforts with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. When not reading, or studying plant science and plant pathology, Sam enjoys photography and honing his skills behind the camera.
