Brief info
Josh Goode joined Sam Hill Tree Care in 2018 after cultivating his knowledge of plant health care in various high-end residential markets. He developed a passion for Horticulture early on while attending Naaman Forest High School in Garland, which led to him obtaining a B.S. in Horticulture Science from Texas Tech University. Upon graduation, he commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Texas Army National Guard, which led to numerous training and leadership roles in both Virginia and central Texas. Josh returned to the Metroplex to join Sam’s team after working with firms such as SavATree in Washington D.C. and Bartlett Tree Experts in Austin.
Goode is a ISA Certified Arborist currently pursuing his Board Certified Master Arborist qualification. He oversees sales as well as community outreach for the Sam Hill Tree Care team and is heavily involved with the local Urban Forestry Councils. Josh believes in doing the most good one can on a daily basis, and living life to the fullest.
When Josh is not running through the forest, swimming in the creek, or hunting for significant trees and exotic pests, he can be found walking or driving around the quiet streets of North Dallas with his cat, Panther.
